It may be 100 degrees outside, but if you are a seasoned crocheter, you are probably starting to plan what to make for this upcoming fall/winter season. I didn't realize it was coming up quite so fast until I received my first winter hat order of the season.
What are your go to patterns? I have my craft fair favorites. The above mentioned Alice Owl Hat pattern has been the most popular of the last 2 seasons. I, of course, also use my own patterns. ;) duh. But I find that the more variety I have the better! Here are a few of my go to craft fair patterns:Photo by EatPrayYarn

Textured Newsboy Crochet Hat Pattern By Bubnut Crochet Patterns
This pattern comes in all sizes. I found that to be popular in the toddler/child sizes. (which I wasn't expecting) Last year I had only infant sizes of this hat at the first craft fair of the season. I learned the hard way that I was WAY wrong. Which really shows that customers will always surprise you!

Perfect Pumpkin Hat By 7one7 Designs
Great for fall craft shows! That's all I can really say about this pattern. People love a baby with a little pumpkin noggin. :)

Cable & Wires By EatPrayYarn (Yup, shameless plug)
This pattern is probably my most popular. I hope that is because others love it as much as I do. I didn't get to take this one to any winter craft sales last year, as I was still writing it out and testing it. I did have a good amount of online sales after it was released. That leads me to believe that it will be one of the better sellers at the fairs this year. I'll be keeping a few of these one hand at all times.

Little Loves Sun Hat By EatPrayYarn (that's me, too!)
I believe this is the first hat I ever designed on my own. It's free - and it will always be free. It also happens to be a favorite in spring and winter shows. I always try to have one or two of these in my "emergency hat stash" for those - Oh crap, I forgot that was coming up! - events.
